What You’ll Do
The Clinical Team Leader, MA/LPN provides team leader responsibilities for the clinic. This position ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation standards and Adena Health System policies and procedures. The incumbent provides direction for the clinical staff and participates in the workload as needed within his/her professional scope.
The incumbent may also provide direction to clerical staff as needed. Decisions are made independently and/or in collaboration with the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director. This position has access to confidential information and functions under the direction of the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director.
Clinical Team Leads in this tier serve in specialties such as Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, Occupational Health, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Behavioral Health, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, Pain, and Preadmission Testing, and are typically scheduled within normal business hours.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Program in Medical Assistant OR LPN
- Certified Medical Assistant registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Ohio License. De-escalation training within 6 months. Basic Life Support.
- 1-2 years related work experience in a medical office setting

The incumbent may also provide direction to clerical staff as needed. Decisions are made independently and/or in collaboration with the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director. Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Program in Nursing - BSN required within 5 years of hire
- RN - Registered Nurse with Current Ohio License. De-escalation training within 6 months. Basic Life Support.
- 1-2 years nursing experience
