Somewhere today, a contractor is doing two jobs.
By day they’re installing windows, coating a garage floor, or finishing a bath remodel in a single day. By night they’re at the kitchen table chasing leads, writing estimates, and figuring out who’s on which crew tomorrow. Builder Prime exists to give them their evenings back.
We build software for specialty and replacement home improvement contractors in windows and doors, concrete coatings, flooring, fencing, and one day bath. Builder Prime runs their business from first lead to final payment, so they can sell more and spend less time on paperwork.
We’re a team of about 75 people, backed by Blueprint Equity, and AI forward. Everyone here uses Claude in their daily work, and we expect that to keep changing how we build, sell, and support.

THE ROLE
As an Outbound SDR at Builder Prime, you'll be at the forefront of our growth, connecting with construction professionals who need our innovative software solutions. This isn't just cold calling—it's about building relationships, solving real problems, and directly impacting our company's success.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
This is a remote role open to candidates authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, with a strong preference for candidates based in the greater Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT areas. Denver-based team members have the option to work from our Westminster, CO office, but it's not required. We are only hiring SDRs in states that Builder Prime already operates: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The team currently works from 8:00am to 4:00pm MT and meets daily at 8:30am MT. You need to be able to attend the daily team meeting. The rest of your schedule is flexible to fit your time zone.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Hunt for opportunities – Engage in strategic outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social channels to connect with potential customers
Tell our story – Showcase Builder Prime's value proposition in ways that resonate with construction professionals
Qualify and connect – Identify prospect needs, provide tailored solutions, and schedule qualified demos with our Account Executives
Own your pipeline – Build and maintain a healthy flow of prospects while collaborating with the sales team on follow-up strategies
Stay sharp – Become a product expert who can speak confidently about how we solve real problems for our customers, with access to developmental opportunities like sales book clubs and training programs
Drive results – Track your activities and performance, reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Development. Compete in friendly monthly challenges and celebrate your wins with the team

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
1+ years of sales experience, with hands-on prospecting or cold outreach (calls, emails, D2D, or social)
Track record of hitting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets
Clear, persuasive communicator who can handle objections and keep a conversation moving
Organized and consistent about pipeline follow-up and CRM hygiene
Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) daily, not just occasionally
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free space to work from home
Bonus points:
Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
Background in SaaS or the construction industry
President’s Club, Rep of the Year, or similar recognition as an SDR or AE
Experience in a high effort, relationship driven field like hospitality, logistics, or sales outside of SaaS, especially if you’re looking to break into tech

PAY
The base salary for this role is $60,000 to start. This role also includes commission, with on target earnings of $20,000.
