Part-Time CDL Shuttle Driver (Afternoons/Evenings) – Creighton (Extra Income)

Creighton University is seeking two dependable, service-oriented Part-time, Commercial Licensed, Shuttle Drivers to support campus transportation for a 3.5 hour/day, Monday - Friday schedule, between the hours of 2pm - 9pm. Target Start Date: August 1, 2026.

What We’re Looking For

Friendly, dependable professional with a strong desire to help others
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience
Must be at least 21 years of age

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement required.
Valid U.S. driver’s license (2+ years), with clean driving record

What You’ll Do

Operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, and other University vehicles on fixed routes, on-demand services, and assigned trips
Follow all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations
Complete required DoT logs and documentation each shift
Perform routine vehicle checks, basic maintenance, and refueling
Report maintenance issues, route concerns, or passenger-related incidents
Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff

Skills & Abilities

Safe operation of shuttle buses and passenger vehicles
Knowledge of DoT safety standards and regulations
Clear written and verbal communication in English
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Willingness and availability to work additional hours, if needed.
