Autism Assessor - ADOS - CYP/Early Years - Hybrid (London)
POSITION: Permanent, Full Time
HOURS: Full time and part time opportunities available. 15 hours per week up to 37.5 hours per week.
LOCATION: Hybrid: In person (London) and remote delivery
REMUNERATION:
- Salary Band - £60,000 to £62,000 FTE. If you're interested in an associate role, rates will be discussed with you.

As a Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in our Neurodevelopment team providing high quality diagnostic assessments for our younger clients (ages 3 years +) as well as in some areas, offering post-diagnostic support to help children, adults and their families understand their diagnosis. This will require both in person and remote delivery and you’ll be able to work with other age ranges (subject to appropriate experience and training).
What you need to have
- Clinical qualification in:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic) or
- Mental Health/ Learning Disability Nursing
- Speech & language therapy
- Paediatrician or
- Social Work
- Clinical registration with HCPC, SWE or NMC
- Previous experience in comprehensive assessment of autism in younger age children (age 3+) with varying and complex needs
- Preference for ADOS and ADI-R (or equivalent) trained and experienced but will consider ADOS training/experience only
- Minimum of 1 years experience of conducting and leading on diagnostic assessments and interventions of children and young people, including younger age groups (3+ years).
