SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Are you passionate about data, technology, and driving business improvement across international markets? We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our EMEA Commercial Strategy team and help transform data into actionable business insights.

In this role, you'll work with leading platforms such as Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Domo, Oracle EBS, and other commercial technologies to develop impactful analytics solutions, optimise business processes, and support strategic commercial initiatives. You'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Tender Management, and IT teams to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and drive data-driven decision-making across EMEA.

As part of our continued business growth and investment in Commercial Analytics, this position will expand our team to five professionals, further strengthening our ability to support strategic initiatives, digital transformation, and commercial excellence across the region.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Intelligence & Commercial Insights

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve analytics solutions, dashboards, reporting tools, and decision-support capabilities that enable commercial excellence across EMEA.

Transform complex data into actionable insights by identifying growth opportunities, customer purchasing trends, product gaps, contract compliance opportunities, and revenue improvement initiatives.

Design and deliver impactful visualisations, performance analyses, and reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making and measurable business outcomes.

Support revenue management initiatives through analysis of customer behaviour, commercial performance, pricing effectiveness, and opportunity identification.

Commercial Systems & Digital Transformation

Act as a subject matter expert for commercial platforms and technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Domo, Oracle, market intelligence platforms, contract management tools, and future commercial solutions.

Partner with business stakeholders to translate commercial processes, business challenges, and strategic objectives into scalable reporting, automation, and digital solutions.

Collaborate with business and IT teams to investigate system issues, define requirements, implement enhancements, and ensure data quality, governance, and platform effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve commercial processes through data, analytics, and technology.

Change Management & Business Adoption

Drive adoption of analytics, reporting tools, CRM capabilities, and commercial systems by promoting a data-driven culture across EMEA.

Influence and enable Sales and Marketing teams to leverage data intelligence, customer insights, and opportunity management tools to drive customer retention, growth, contract compliance, and commercial performance.

Deliver engaging training, workshops, and communications that increase user capability, engagement, and utilisation of commercial platforms and analytical solutions.

Act as a change champion for new tools, processes, and ways of working, ensuring successful implementation and measurable business adoption.

Strategic Projects & Business Partnership

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Tender Management, Finance, IT, and Commercial Strategy teams to support strategic initiatives and business growth.

Lead and manage cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, timelines, and resources.

Design and implement analytical and digital solutions that address leadership priorities and create measurable business value.

Data Governance

Maintain and govern commercial master data across Oracle and other business systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, reliability, and compliance.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-5 years of experience in business analytics, commercial analytics, business intelligence, CRM, or a related field.

Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, and visualisation.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Experience working with business intelligence, reporting, and analytics platforms.

Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, DAX, VBA, Oracle EBS, or similar technologies is an advantage.

Experience with data governance, data quality, and master data management is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and business improvement initiatives.

Ability to connect data, business processes, and commercial objectives to drive measurable business outcomes.

Commercial awareness and an interest in sales effectiveness, customer behaviour, pricing, revenue management, and business performance.

Strong attention to detail while maintaining a focus on the bigger business picture.

Change Management & Communication

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.

Experience delivering training, workshops, or user enablement activities is a plus.

Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and levels of the organisation.
