About the Role
We are looking for a Google Analytics / Tagging Manager to own the measurement foundation behind every marketing decision OPF makes. You will design, implement, and govern our analytics and tagging stack so every click, form step, and funded deal is tracked accurately and fed back to our ad platforms. When the paid media team asks "can we trust this number?", you are the person who makes the answer yes.
Responsibilities:
- Own OPF's GA4 implementation, including property structure, event and parameter design, conversions, audiences, and BigQuery export.
- Manage Google Tag Manager (web and server-side) containers, including tag governance, version control, QA, and documentation.
- Implement and maintain server-side and platform conversion integrations: Meta Conversions API, Google Enhanced Conversions, TikTok Events API, and offline conversion uploads from CRM.
- Partner with the CDP and data teams (e.g., Tealium) to ensure consistent event data across web, app, CRM, and ad platforms.
- Own and enforce the marketing UTM and campaign taxonomy across all channels and partners.
- Implement consent management and Google Consent Mode v2, and work with Legal/Compliance on privacy requirements (CCPA and other state privacy laws).
- Build a tracking plan for every new landing page, funnel step, and experiment; QA tracking before launch and monitor data quality afterward.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio or similar BI tools for funnel, channel, and experiment reporting.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies across GA4, ad platforms, and CRM, and explain them clearly to stakeholders.
- Train marketers on GA4, reporting, and tagging requests.
How Success Is Measured
- Tracking accuracy and reconciliation between GA4, ad platforms, and CRM.
- Event match quality and offline conversion match rates across Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- Taxonomy compliance across campaigns and partners.
- Time to instrument new pages and experiments.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on digital analytics and tag management experience.
- Expert knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including server-side GTM.
- Hands-on experience implementing Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, and offline conversion imports.
- Strong JavaScript and data layer skills; comfortable with browser developer tools and tag debugging tools.
- SQL proficiency, ideally with BigQuery.
- Experience with consent management platforms and Consent Mode.
- Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in Spanish, or meaningful experience building campaigns for US Hispanic and Puerto Rican audiences.
- Experience with Tealium, Segment, or another CDP.
- Experience with CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) for offline conversion tracking.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Google Analytics certification.
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Performance-based incentives
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
- 401(k) and paid time off
- The opportunity to shape a fast-growing marketing organization and have a direct impact on company growth
- Growth and development opportunities
- Dynamic and collaborative work environment
- Company events and team-building activities
