- Kforce has a client in Daytona Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior Manager Enterprise Network to lead a team of senior network engineering professionals and support the continued modernization and integration of a large-scale enterprise network environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong hands-on networking foundation and has progressed into people leadership. This individual must have the technical credibility to lead experienced engineers while also providing direction, accountability, and partnership across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and architecture teams. Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of senior-level Network Engineers and Architects
- Provide technical leadership across enterprise routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, firewalls, DNS, IP addressing, and network segmentation
- Support network integration efforts associated with mergers and acquisitions, including overlapping IP environments, re-IP initiatives, routing, DNS, and connectivity
- Lead and support the continued migration and modernization of enterprise branch networking and SD-WAN technologies
- Partner with Cloud, Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Server teams on large-scale cloud and data center migration initiatives
- Provide leadership around network security, segmentation, vulnerabilities, and firewall strategy
- Oversee network change management processes and ensure changes are appropriately planned, reviewed, documented, and executed
- Evaluate the current network organization and help determine future staffing and skill-set requirements
- Provide technical guidance and challenge senior engineers when needed while empowering the team to own their areas of expertise
- Participate in occasional after-hours or weekend work associated with network changes and major initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of professional experience, technical education, and certifications
- Relevant networking certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are a plus
- Extensive experience in enterprise networking with a strong hands-on engineering or architecture background
- Previous experience leading and managing senior-level Network Engineers or Architects
- Strong experience with Cisco enterprise networking technologies
- Experience with SD-WAN and enterprise network modernization; Cisco Meraki experience is highly preferred
- Experience supporting M&A network integrations strongly preferred
- Knowledge of enterprise firewall technologies and network security concepts; Fortinet experience is helpful but not required
- Experience with routing, DNS, IP addressing, segmentation, and re-IP initiatives
- Experience supporting cloud and/or data center migration initiatives
- Ability to work effectively with Cloud, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Infrastructure, and business leadership teams
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
