Cluster Service Engineer (Cz&Sl)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Cluster Service Engineer CZ & SK to provide high-quality field service support for Medrad Injector Systems and other Medrad products across the Western Czech Republic region (Morava).
In this role, you will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at customer sites, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to service revenue opportunities, maintain service inventory and tools, and work closely with Sales, Clinical Specialists, and other Service colleagues.
The position requires extensive travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays when needed.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule and perform on-site service activities, including installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing and repair of Medrad products at customer sites in the west part of Czech Republic.
- Deliver a high level of customer support and contribute to customer satisfaction.
- Support the Cluster service revenue objectives by identifying opportunities and supporting the sale of service and maintenance contracts.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships through professional technical service and support.
- Maintain and control Service inventory, equipment and tools.
- Complete and submit required service documentation and administrative records accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update customer information and equipment locations in company databases.
- Follow applicable Bayer and Service department processes and procedures.
- Provide technical support and information to customers and dealers across the assigned service region via phone and email.
- Support the Sales teams by sharing relevant information and providing technical expertise for promotional and customer activities.
- Contribute to account strategy development and execution through close collaboration with Sales and other customer-facing teams.
- Cooperate with Key Account Managers, Clinical Specialists, other Bayer Field Service representatives and Technical Service Support.
- Actively contribute as a member of the Cluster and Service teams and further develop technical and clinical expertise for selected devices and application areas.
Who You Are:
Bayer seeks an individual who possesses the following:
- Technical college degree or comparable technical qualification in BIO Medical Engineering.
- Strong Customer focus and commitment to deliver high-quality service, that can influence health recovery and diagnosis process for patients.
- Good electro-mechanical skills and experience working with hand tools.
- Good understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, technical manuals, and related technical documentation.
- Effective planning, organization, and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and stay overnight when required.
- Willingness to support other territories when needed.
- Full B category active driving license.
- Czechian and Slovak language proficiency (native level)
- English language on B2 level
- Residence within or close to the assigned service territory (Czechia, Morava)
The following would be an advantage:
- More than five years of relevant practical technical/service experience.
- HND/HNC or comparable technical qualificationss.
- Experience working within ISO/GMP environments.
- Knowledge of ESD requirements.
- Working knowledge of inventory management principles.
- IT networking knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits
This position may be allocated in both Czechia and Slovakia. Final employment conditions will depend on the country where the role is based and will be outlined as follows:
Slovakia:
