IB Operations - Reporting Specialist

Note that this is an operation role rather than a technical role.You will be part of the Quality Assurance Regulatory Service Team and focused on performing regular quality assurance testing across UBS internal systems’ reports and regulatory reporting reports.
Your work ensures that UBS delivers consistent accurate, complete, and timely reporting data to the regulators.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and Enhance Data Controls: Create controls for completeness and accuracy by translating regulatory rules into operational process.
• Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets, identify breaks, patterns, and identify root causes with reference to regulatory standards.
• Efficiency Improvement: Build reusable queries, data models, and self-service validation tools to improve efficiency and process quality.
• Exception Investigation: Deep dive into breaks and collaborate with IT, middle office, report processing, and Compliance teams
• Solutioning: Post identification of root causes, propose fix solution that are supported by robust analytical evidence and scalable logic.
• Regulatory Change Support: Implement and test updated reporting rules, mapping logic, and new data attributes.
• Automation & AI: Contribute to automation, data quality indicators, anomaly detection models, and scalable control frameworks
