Digital Customer Interactions & Sales focuses on creating outstanding digital interactions for our customers and enabling digital sales for our business units. This includes responsibility for our group website dhl.com, where we manage content authoring, technical platform development, and constantly evolve the most important customer journeys.

The Senior Program Manager, Digital Experience Platform drives complex strategic initiatives across DHL's digital ecosystem by combining strong program leadership, cross-functional stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to managing challenges and shaping solutions.
Your first challenge in this role will be leading a large-scale platform transformation program, bringing together business, technology, and external partners to deliver on a business-critical initiative. The role translates strategic objectives into executable plans and drives alignment across a diverse stakeholder landscape.
The successful candidate is a trusted program leader who excels at navigating complexity, anticipates and mitigates risks and challenges before they impact delivery. They provide transparent and actionable insights into leadership, ensuring visibility into progress, dependencies, and critical decisions. And they are highly effective in inspiring teams to stay aligned, engaged, and focused on achieving exceptional results.
Your tasks
- Lead high-impact strategic programs and digital transformation initiatives, guiding them from concept and planning through execution, adoption, and successful business transition
- Shape and drive program governance, establishing effective decision-making frameworks, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement strategies, and delivery oversight
- Build and execute comprehensive delivery roadmaps, managing scope, milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies, and measurable business outcomes
- Partner with business, technology, and external stakeholders, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared objectives and accelerate value realization
- Create a culture of engagement, innovation, and accountability, empowering teams to perform at their best and successfully navigate complex, longer-running transformation journeys
- Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges, implementing mitigation strategies that keep programs on track and enable predictable outcomes
- Provide executive-level visibility into program performance, delivering clear insights on progress, risks, priorities, key decisions, and strategic dependencies
- Facilitate effective decision-making by structuring complex topics, highlighting trade-offs and driving clarity whilst achieving consensus across stakeholders
- Oversee and influence vendor and delivery partners, ensuring strong performance, accountability, and delivery excellence
- Champion change adoption and business readiness by ensuring proper communication and training across all teams is considered throughout the whole duration of the program
Your profile
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, Digital Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Significant experience leading large-scale transformation programs, platform modernizations or other complex strategic initiatives with involvement of multiple stakeholders, teams and external partners
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, align diverse stakeholders and maintain momentum through periods of change
- Strong program management capabilities across planning, governance, budgeting, risk management and executive reporting
- Demonstrated ability to spot risks, dependencies and delivery challenges early and drive proactive mitigation
- Ability to think beyond established approaches, challenge constructively and identify pragmatic solutions to complex problems
- Experience with digital experience platforms/content management systems or comparable enterprise technologies is highly desirable
- Experience working in multinational, matrix organizations is preferred
- Relevant program or project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP) are beneficial
- Excellent written and spoken business English
