Fremont Hospital is looking for a dynamic IT Manager!

The IT Manager will oversee and manage the technical support and service operations and functions in the organization including Information Systems, Local Area Network (LAN), Network Server, AS400/HMS Server, telephone systems and all hospital workstations. Collaborates with department managers to develop new systems and applications for greater operational efficiency and business processes. Incumbent will develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that meet all regulatory and compliance needs, maintain confidentiality, and create a safe and secure environment. Incumbent manages, organizes, and maintains the IT department and related assets. This position is part of the leadership team of the hospital and develops and maintains good working relationships with all other departments. Incumbent responsible for monitoring performance improvement plans for the department and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related field required.
Experience:

At least five years of related experience.

At least one year in a supervisory role preferred.

Certification:

Certification in IT preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Familiarity and knowledge of the hospital workings within two weeks of hire.

Able to speak fluently in front of audiences.

Able to understand and maintain policy, procedures, and documentation.

Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.

Successful completion of the Fremont Hospital’s non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
Computer/Software programs:

Type 35+ WPM.
Computer proficiency including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to learn specialized hospital systems and data entry.
