Job Description:
- Act as the attending physician for medical inpatients overnight
- Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
- Coordinate with ICU, emergency medicine, and specialty services
- Provide consultation and procedural care within your scope
- Use Excellian, one of the most comprehensive electronic health record systems in the country.
Job Requirements
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training from an approved school of medicine required
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Internal Medicine
- Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine required
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges.
- ACLS/BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire

Pay Range
Pay Range: $350,100 to $366,400 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).Allina Health is committed to adhering with all applicable local, state and federal minimum wage requirements.
