About the role
At Sulzer, Pump Services plays an important role in helping customers across critical industries improve the reliability, efficiency, sustainability and lifecycle performance of their rotating equipment. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager (Pump Services) to shape and drive the global marketing strategy for this business.In this highly visible role, you will connect customer and market needs with Sulzer’s extensive service capabilities, translating complex technical solutions into clear, compelling value propositions. You will work closely with global product leaders, sales teams, regional and segment marketing, and technical experts to build differentiated positioning and turn strategy into effective campaigns and content.
This is an opportunity for an experienced B2B marketer who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Your work will directly support demand generation, commercial opportunities and Sulzer’s position as a trusted service partner in global pump services markets.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute the global marketing strategy for Pump Services, aligning marketing priorities with business growth objectives, customer needs and regional opportunities.
- Define target markets, customer segments, growth opportunities and compelling value propositions that clearly differentiate Sulzer’s Pump Services offering.
- Plan and deliver integrated global campaigns that generate qualified leads, support pipeline growth and strengthen customer engagement and loyalty.
- Partner with regional and segment marketing teams to adapt global campaigns for local markets and customer needs.
- Identify relevant customer stakeholders and campaign targets, supporting sales teams in developing and qualifying commercial opportunities.
- Create customer-focused content including case studies, solution stories, presentations, videos, webinars, brochures and digital assets.
- Translate complex technical service capabilities into clear, persuasive customer benefits and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Pump Services leadership, sales, service, product management, new equipment marketing and regional teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Support service launches, customer events, strategic initiatives and commercial programs with effective marketing tools and messaging.
- Track and improve campaign performance using metrics such as lead generation, pipeline contribution and customer engagement.
- Leverage AI, digital tools and content platforms to improve the efficiency, scalability and effectiveness of marketing content and campaigns.
- Maintain consistent, technically accurate and brand-aligned marketing materials across global channels.
What you need to succeed:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally gained in industrial services, engineering, energy, chemicals, technology, pumps or rotating equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in product marketing and in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple markets or regions.
- Strong demand generation, campaign management and performance-tracking capabilities.
- Excellent content development, storytelling and copywriting skills, with the ability to turn complex technical subjects into compelling customer-focused narratives.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to measuring and improving marketing effectiveness.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively without direct authority.
- Confidence working across sales, product management, engineering, service and marketing functions in an international environment.
- Strong digital and AI fluency, with an interest in applying modern marketing and content tools to improve execution.
- Fluent English.
- A hands-on, collaborative mindset and the ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution.
- Willingness to travel internationally, with expected travel of more than 15%.
Preferred:
- Experience marketing complex technical or industrial service solutions.
- Knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment or related industrial markets.
- An additional language would be an advantage.
