Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking for a varied role within Asda Money and Mobile? We have an exciting opportunity for a Money & Mobile Operations Assistant to join our team. You'll support a range of operational, governance and compliance activities, helping to ensure key processes run smoothly while providing excellent support to colleagues across the business.

Your Role

You'll be part of a collaborative team, supporting day-to-day administration, governance activities and operational processes. Working with colleagues across the business, you'll help maintain accurate records, coordinate meetings and actions, support compliance requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and has a strong eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:

Meeting and Team Administration

• Schedule and organise meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up on action items.
• Organise and maintain team documentation, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
• Use Microsoft 365 and Copilot to automate administrative tasks and improve efficiency. 

General Operations Support

• Assist with day-to-day operational tasks and ensure timely execution of administrative activities.
• Act as a point of contact for queries from internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to improving administrative workflows and procedures.
• Support the creation and upkeep of process maps for Money & Mobile activities, so processes are clear, consistent and easy to follow.
• Support the day-to-day management, collation and regulatory reporting of Cash Services and Gift Card across the Money, Mobile and Gift Card business unit.
• Support the wider team on BAU and compliance requirements to ensure the team and partners adhere to Asda policies, audit and compliance processes.

Project Coordination and Team Collaboration

• Support cross-departmental initiatives by coordinating tasks and communication.
• Track actions and Money & Mobile deliverables, making sure tasks are completed on time and supporting the Operations and Governance Coordinator and Manager.
• Support communications to stores and colleagues on Money & Mobile processes and compliance changes. 

Risk and Governance

• Support the maintenance of risk logs and incident management, ensuring issues are recorded, escalated and tracked to resolution.
• Prepare governance packs for quarterly meetings including action items
• Gather evidence and support responses for internal and external audits and regulatory requests.
• Support in-store compliance monitoring (e.g. our instore compliance system), working alongside the activity owner.
• undefined Qualifications and Skills: Not all criteria are essential – we’re looking for a strong overall fit.• Proven experience in an administrative or operations role.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint).• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills:• Experience in governance, compliance, or project coordination within a regulated or retail environment.• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks. Basic understanding of Copilot for minute-taking and productivity.
