About the Role
We are seeking a Solutions Consultant – Logistics to join our team in a remote capacity in Latin America. As a Solutions Consultant – Logistics, you will be a recognized professional in clinical supplies, ancillary supplies and/or laboratory logistics, with experience supporting the design, operational conduct, and successful delivery of global clinical trial logistics solutions. You will join a highly collaborative, growth-oriented environment where strategic insight, commercial awareness, and solution design directly influence business opportunities.
Working in partnership with operational, commercial, and other cross-functional teams, you will help develop creative, cost-effective, operationally achievable clinical logistics solutions that address client needs and differentiate Parexel. Your work will span the pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle, from understanding client requirements and developing competitive solutions through supporting effective transition to operational teams and identifying opportunities to strengthen or expand solutions for existing clients.
This role offers the opportunity to deepen your clinical trial logistics expertise, strengthen client partnerships, and contribute to industry-leading solutions across Parexel.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Logistics Solution Development
- Develop creative, cost-effective, high-quality competitive strategies and business solutions that differentiate Parexel as a premier provider of clinical supplies, ancillary supplies and laboratory logistics solutions.
- Craft creative solutions for sales campaigns and strategic clinical logistics opportunities.
- Engage with experts across Parexel to develop short- and longer-term solutions that address client requirements and maximize value.
- Consider operational and financial risks, implementation requirements, scope assumptions, milestones, and budget considerations when developing solutions.
- Develop solutions that are operationally achievable while supporting quality, efficiency, financial objectives, and customer expectations.
- Apply appropriate risk assessments and assumptions to support clear scope definition and effective management of potential scope changes.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Parexel clinical trial supply and logistics offerings and understand how those services connect with broader Parexel capabilities.
- Apply knowledge of industry trends, competition, innovations, and relevant regulatory developments to strengthen solutions and identify business opportunities.
Sales and Proposal Support
- Support Strategic Business Unit sales targets and participate in discovery sessions to understand client business objectives, clinical trial logistics requirements, and solution needs.
- Create customer-focused, professionally presented proposal content that clearly differentiates Parexel from competitors and supports business growth across Strategic Business Units.
- Ensure proposals and client responses reflect strategy discussions, address client requirements, communicate a clear value proposition and critical success factors, and are based on appropriate assumptions.
- Support the development of solutions with accurate and achievable scope, milestones, budget considerations, and operational assumptions.
- Define bid pursuit content and review and integrate relevant clinical logistics considerations into request-for-proposal strategies.
- Participate in capabilities meetings, proposal development, bid pursuit and bid defense meetings, and client Q&A sessions as needed.
- Drive a consultative approach that enables Parexel to develop differentiated business solutions and clearly communicate their value to clients.
- Support clients through the pre-award process and provide subject matter expertise to help address complex clinical logistics needs.
Post-Award Solution Support
- Support the effective handover of awarded solutions to operational teams, helping ensure alignment between the proposed solution and operational delivery.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge of awarded projects and collaborate with operational teams to help ensure solutions continue to support agreed quality, efficiency, financial, and customer objectives.
- Work collaboratively with broader Parexel teams to help address post-award client issues and provide coordinated clinical logistics solutions.
- Contribute clinical logistics expertise when changes or challenges require adjustments to the solution approach.
- Support opportunities for scope expansion and additional business with existing clients by identifying evolving clinical logistics needs and potential solutions.
- Apply lessons learned and client feedback from solution implementation to strengthen future offerings and opportunities.
Client and Solution Communication
- Advise sponsors and internal teams, applying clinical trial logistics subject matter expertise to develop competitive solution models.
- Communicate credibly with audiences ranging from operational and project teams to senior client stakeholders.
- Translate complex clinical logistics concepts into clear, understandable, and compelling recommendations.
- Ensure client communications provide consistent messaging and clearly articulate Parexel's value proposition.
- Bring an outside-in and One Parexel perspective by channeling client feedback and market requirements into Product Management and the broader solution development process.
- Support internal and external consultations and the preparation of clinical logistics content for relevant industry forums and professional organizations.
Candidate Profile

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at different business levels.

- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Multiple years of experience in the life sciences industry.
- Clinical trial logistics expertise, with experience in clinical supplies, ancillary supplies and/or laboratory logistics.
- Experience in strategic drug development planning or significant involvement in planning clinical, technical, operational, or logistics strategies.
- Experience designing, operationalizing, and successfully delivering solutions globally.
- Experience collaborating across operational and commercial teams to develop client-focused solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to develop operational and technical strategies, risk assessments, scenario plans, and business solutions.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
