We are looking for a talented IT Site Operations Support Tech to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Independently maintain the effectiveness and availability of IT systems, directly supporting end-user productivity and business continuity.
- Lead by Example: Coach and develop less experienced IT Support Associates, to foster a culture of growth, knowledge-sharing, and technical excellence.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Ability to diagnose and solve hardware and software problems with minimal direction to help reduce downtime and improve user satisfaction.
- Drive Process Improvement: Manage and enhance documentation and standards, ensuring consistency and clarity in IT support processes.
- Champion Proactive Support: Identify potential issues before they escalate and propose solutions that will help prevent disruptions and improve system reliability.
- Leverage Data for Insights: Analyze incident trends and take action to optimize support strategies and improve service delivery.
- Promote Continuous Learning: Train others and identify skill gaps to elevate team capabilities and ensure readiness for evolving technologies.
- Advance Quality and Efficiency: Apply Six Sigma principles and identify service improvement opportunities, to help reduce costs and streamline operations.
