Summary of Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sprinkler Systems Test Engineer to conduct weekly testing and inspection of sprinkler systems across our client sites. You will ensure fire sprinkler systems are ready to perform when it matters most. You'll test, inspect, and maintain systems to ensure they're fully operational and compliant with safety standard.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct pressure and flow tests to verify system performance meets required standards.
- Perform visual inspections and functional tests to catch malfunctions before they become failures.
- Document all inspections and maintenance activities accurately and consistently.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure systems are compliant and emergency-ready.
What you will need to know
- Technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and testing procedures
- Strong attention to detail for inspections and record-keeping
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with relevant fire safety standards preferred; training available
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
- Conversant with IT system applications to be able to document and report system inspections.
