Wind Turbine SCADA PPC & Control Engineer

Engineer will be directly responsible for Power Plant controls engineering and commissioning for Wind projects. Engage in understanding the engineering drawings to prepare and study technical data, Specification requirements for Wind parks SCADA, CMS, Pitch and PPC. Engage in Controls application engineering and testing phases of PPC, SCADA and Power plant controls, IED’s etc.
Knowledge of Park Power Controls (Active Power, Reactive Power, Droop etc) along with Grid Codes understanding. Knowledge and experience with IEC-61131 programming, testing, and commissioning for renewable power plant is must. Engage in Customer Demos/FAT/DRM and commissioning activities.
This Role requires 30-40 % of travel to customer site for commissioning and customer interactions. Should have experience with a variety of equipment and devices used in the renewable power plant including Converters, transformers, capacitor banks, Pitch system, etc.
