ABOUT US

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities.  We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better.  It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.

Exciting news! We have secured additional government funding to create THREE new Case Manager positions! Join our passionate team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children affected by domestic and family violence.

Why this role matters

Every woman deserves to feel safe, supported and empowered to rebuild her life. At The Salvation Army’s Family Violence Stream, we provide compassionate, practical and accessible support to women and children escaping domestic and family violence.

You will walk alongside women during some of their most challenging moments, helping them rebuild confidence, strengthen their safety and work towards a brighter future.

About the role

We are excited to be recruiting three passionate and dedicated full-time Case Managers to join our Far West Family Violence Service.

You will provide compassionate, client-led support to women and children impacted by domestic and family violence. You’ll empower clients to develop personalised case plans, access essential services, enhance their safety and work towards stable accommodation, recovery and independence.

This rewarding and varied role also involves conducting risk assessments, advocating for clients, building strong partnerships with community services and supporting the day-to-day operations of our refuges.

Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the SCHADS Award, Level 5, plus applicable superannuation and other entitlements.

At The Salvation Army, we consider gender a genuine occupational qualification for this position under Section 27 (2) (f) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, and so we ask that only Female applicants apply.
