Theatre Administrator | Spire Liverpool Hospital | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | 22.5 Hours per Week | £14,929.20 per annum
Spire Liverpool Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an organised and reliable Theatre Administrator to join our Facilities team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 22.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will need to work flexibly between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, according to the operational needs of the department.
About the role
As a Theatre Administrator, you will provide an excellent administrative and customer service support function within the Theatre Department, being the first point for all contact coming into the department via telephone; email or face to face, ensuring all queries are dealt with effectively by the most appropriate person.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)
- Transfer all patient booking details onto theatre outlook diaries, highlighting any potential inhibitors to the booking request to the Theatre Manager / Theatre Management Team
- Proactively lead on ensuring compliance with short notice booking processes
- Manage list order changes on SAP/Diary
- Coordination and printing of theatre list for following day at an appropriate time.
- Manage changes to theatre lists and printing of updated lists and share with relevant teams/departments.
- To give full support to the Theatre Management team in updating and implementing new processes and procedures as required.
- Process all charge sheet updates on diary, including codes; times; specimen and other checks post-surgery.

- Competent in use of PC with knowledge of various Microsoft applications
- Planning and organisation skills
- Ability to manage time and prioritise appropriately
- Professional attitude and caring disposition.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to meet departmental requirements.
