Senior Underwriter - Technology

We are looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter to play a key role in Chubbs continued expansion across the UK middle-market segment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading industry practice team with ambitious growth plans, underwriting a portfolio that combines Property & Casualty with Technology exposure, including Professional Indemnity and Cyber.
In this role, you will help drive profitable growth across a portfolio of existing and new business, working closely with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders to develop strong relationships and identify new opportunities. You will contribute to underwriting strategy, portfolio management and product development, while helping Chubb achieve its growth ambitions.
What you’ll be doing
- Underwriting new business and renewals in line with Chubb’s underwriting guidelines, budget and local business plan.
- Managing and developing broker and client relationships to support retention and new business growth.
- Supporting underwriting strategy, forecasts and portfolio management to deliver underwriting profitability.
- Undertaking quantitative underwriting reviews and peer reviews to support quality control and portfolio integrity.
- Working with colleagues across the UK&I to maximise cross-sell opportunities.
- Representing and promoting Chubb to brokers and clients
- Contributing to product development and client retention across Technology, PI, Cyber and Property & Casualty.
- Supporting junior colleagues through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing where appropriate.
