Due to our continued growth and success, we have a new position open for a Distribution Operations Account Manager. 

You will be responsible for managing distribution operations relations. 

The Distribution Operations Account Manager will be responsible for managing distribution operations relations, to develop and maintain effective inventories to support North Asia’s aggressive growth targets within the distribution channel as well as to manage and develop processes which support our Supply Chain Model.

The position will require working cross-functionally with Supply and Demand Planning, Fulfilment Operations, Distribution Account Managers, Partner Marketing, and Axis Sales teams.  

This position is based in Hong Kong or Taipei, Taiwan and reports to the Regional Director, North Asia.

The role will have a requirement to travel domestically with some international travel. Occasionally, you may need to participate in collaboration calls with our HQ and other sales regions’ team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships within the established distributor network: Operations Team, key field sales team, and management team
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by:
• - conducting regular distributor meeting, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing effective inventory control measures. 
• - collaborating with distributor procurement and sales team in forecasting to minimize stockouts and prevent overstocks. 
• - Providing strategy for new product roll over to mitigate discontinued product in stock.
• Manage stock rotations to maximize stocking efficiencies with distributors and apply best practice in compliance to Axis ways of working. 
• Work closely with the Axis distribution team to have a holistic view and effective channel inventory level for North Asia region. 

• Analyse performance metrics, such as inventory turnover and provide run rate forecast

• Generate and maintain distribution sales dashboards, consolidated stock reports, and uPOS discrepancy updates.

• Apply use of systematic reporting tools and reports to analytically manage daily responsibilities  

• Drive healthier strategic alignment and increased transparency to strengthen supply chain and operations management with distribution partner

• Drive strategic operational initiatives with distribution partner together with Distribution account team

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply and Demand Planning to establish and/or maintain processes to develop strategic product forecasts with distributors partners

• Act as an ambassador for digital transformation initiatives with distribution partners.

• Perform other related duties when assigned

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commercial related

• Strong working knowledge in area of relevance with minimum 5 years working experience

• Preferably with prior sales experience  

• Experience with MNCs in High Tech industry will be an advantage. 

• Experience from partnering with businesses on a global level with cultural awareness. 

Important skills, abilities, knowledge for this role:

• Excellent communication skills in order to develop internal and external relationships.

• Ability to manage complex issues and find win win solutions

• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and preferably well verse in Salesforce / Qliksense applications

• Fluent in English

• Good organizational skills verbally and in written, able to handle multiple priorities

• The ability to provide effective presentations to all levels of people including Axis corporate management.

• High levels of self-initiative, self-motivation and customer orientation

• Has good organizational skills, and able to handle multiple priorities

• Driven and self-motivated team player
