About the position

To help us do this essential work, The New York Times is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Business Communications.

In this role, you'll be part of a team that leads internal communication on the business side of The Times, with a focus on XFun, our cross-functional product development organization. You'll partner closely with XFun leadership, their chiefs of staff, HR, Legal, Labor Relations and other stakeholders across the org — bringing our strategy, priorities and culture to life, and elevating the employee experience for our team. You're comfortable working in a highly matrixed organization, bringing together many voices and priorities in service of The Times's mission, and you take real pride in helping colleagues feel seen, connected and celebrated for their work.

You're an impeccable writer and you know how to make communications break through the noise, including through audio, video and other formats. You come with big ideas, the drive to see them through, and a collaborative spirit that puts the team and the work first.
