What you will be doing:
- Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
- Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Providing detailed information on room types, rates, packages, and amenities to assist guests in selecting their ideal stay.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensuring special requests and preferences are noted and communicated effectively to relevant departments.
- Collaborating with the front office and sales team to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving booking-related issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry, along with:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with reservations software Opera Cloud is an advantage.
- A positive and professional demeanour, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
