We’re looking for someone like you to
- lead our Lombard and Mortgage lending activities across South East Asia for the Flow and Dedicated lending segments.
- be the senior subject matter expert for Lombard and mortgage lending across South East Asia, supporting Client Advisors and clients throughout the financing lifecycle
- grow the lending franchise by identifying opportunities across existing and prospective client relationships and positioning lending within broader wealth planning and investment strategies
- lead the origination, structuring and execution of complex and bespoke transactions, while providing oversight on other deals to maintain consistent execution and risk standards
- advise on pricing, leverage, collateral structures and risk-return considerations to support the appropriate and sustainable use of credit
- lead, coach and develop a team of lending specialists, setting clear expectations and creating an accountable, collaborative and high-performing environment
- allocate client coverage, transaction responsibilities and product ownership to make the best use of the team’s capacity and expertise
- shape the strategic direction of the South East Asia lending business and work with regional and global partners to deliver initiatives and product enhancements
- turn market, competitor and regulatory developments into practical business opportunities and support balance sheet optimization through disciplined pricing and portfolio management
- represent the lending business in governance forums, strategic initiatives and senior stakeholder discussions
- own first-line risk management, oversee portfolio quality and lending lifecycle activities, and make sure risks are identified, assessed and managed in line with applicable regulations, UBS policies and credit standards
- be a role-model UBS values and promote sound judgement, integrity, client focus and a strong risk culture
