As a Security Officer Front Desk Credential Reconciliation in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and/or staff and directing them in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining required logs, and communicating entry requirements.
- Monitor front desk activity, access points, and available systems for unusual or unauthorized activity and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following healthcare location procedures.
- Support a professional healthcare environment by answering phones, providing general information, and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least five years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
- Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
