Radiology Technologist (PRN)

Schedule: Part-Time / PRN | First Shift
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Orthopedics team in New Albany, Indiana! Under the direction of the Practice Manager and with minimal supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures and supports daily patient care and clinic operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care in a clinical setting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations using general radiology equipment, C-arm, portable equipment, and other imaging technology as needed.
- Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information, communicating and coordinating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Manipulate and process digital images for interpretation, archiving, and other diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document information related to each case.
- Assist with patient transportation to and from examination rooms as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging department.
- Follow established dress code, quality assurance, and safety requirements.
- Practice universal precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Assist with other clinical and departmental duties as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Practice Manager.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- KROC certification within 90 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification.
