Mental Health Specialist/Non Degree

The Mental Health Specialist are key members of Diamond Grove Center who functions as a member ot the treatment team and accepts responsibilities for specifically assigned dutes, such as patient observation rounds, suicide risk observations, as well as assisting with treatment programs. As a Mental Health Specialist you will ensure that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.    

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations mission, vision and values.

Aids education staff, charge nurse and Program Director in the overall management of the milieu.

Exhibits a positive attitude when dealing with others in a day-to-day work situations

Qualifications

Requirements: 

High School Diploma/Ged Equivalent

Behavioral Science Field or equivalent of documented experience

Hospital Aide/Treatment Assistant

Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills
