Overview

Director, Benefits Advisory

Artex is a global leader in alternative risk, and this role gives you the chance to help clients shape benefit strategies that support their goals. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to review needs, spot practical solutions, and keep work moving from onboarding through implementation. This role fits self-starters, problem solvers, and relationship builders who like learning, helping others, and doing the work the right way.

As Director, Benefits Advisory, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate an increasingly complex healthcare and employee benefits landscape. You'll partner with organizations to evaluate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop strategies that align benefit programs with business objectives, workforce needs, and long-term financial goals.

This is a highly consultative role that combines relationship management, strategic advisory, data-driven decision making, and client advocacy. You'll work closely with client leadership teams and key decision makers to provide thoughtful recommendations, facilitate meaningful discussions, and help organizations make informed decisions about their employee benefits programs.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of employee benefits expertise, business acumen, executive presence, and a passion for helping clients achieve better outcomes. Whether reviewing program performance, identifying savings opportunities, or guiding clients through complex benefits decisions, you'll play an important role in delivering value while building long-term, trusted partnerships.

At Artex, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, support sophisticated organizations, and make a measurable impact on the success of your clients.

The preferred location for this role is our Fairlawn, Ohio office in a hybrid work environment, though exceptional candidates outside the market who are willing to travel as needed will also be considered.
