Oracle Autonomous Database Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (IC3) to help build, deploy, operate, and continuously improve Oracle Autonomous AI Database cloud services.
In this role, you will own critical infrastructure and production operations, troubleshoot complex database and system issues, and implement automation to improve service reliability and operational efficiency.
You will work with cross-functional engineering teams on database platform architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, performance optimization, capacity planning, and release engineering.
The role is suited to an engineer who combines hands-on Oracle Database and Engineered Systems expertise with strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and scripting capabilities.

Built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), this framework automates database deployment, scaling, lifecycle management, and operational activities through APIs and event-driven processes. The team works across Oracle's technology stack, including database systems, cloud infrastructure, platform services, and customer-facing capabilities, with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, security, and automation. Build and operate reliable Oracle Autonomous AI Database cloud services, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and develop automation that improves availability, performance, and operational resilience.
