The team

The GPS EMEA Financial Institutions team helps banks and other regulated financial institutions with payments, liquidity, transactional FX and related treasury solutions. Within it, the UK Banks & PayTech team covers some of the most dynamic and fastest-changing parts of financial services.

PayTech is a fast-growing segment for the franchise. We are looking for a Vice President to own a defined portfolio of PayTech and digital banking relationships and help drive the segment's next phase of growth.

The role

The VP will report to the Head of UK Banks & PayTech. They will work under the segment direction of the EMEA PayTech Lead, who covers the largest strategic PayTech relationships and sets the segment agenda.

Within that framework, the VP will have primary GPS sales responsibility for a defined portfolio of names. The portfolio will mix established relationships, where the focus is protecting and deepening revenue, with growth names, where the focus is origination and building the relationship. The VP is accountable for portfolio revenue, product penetration, and opportunities from origination through onboarding, implementation and revenue realisation.

The portfolio mainly consists of:

Clients fall into two coverage models. Each needs a different way of working:

1. UK & Irish-headquartered clients: lead relationship coverage For clients headquartered in the UK or Ireland, the VP is the lead GPS relationship owner. They will:

2. Inbound clients (mainly US and APAC-headquartered): EMEA coverage For global clients headquartered outside EMEA, the home-region Treasury Sales Officer owns the global relationship. The VP will:

PayTech clients build their businesses on payment infrastructure. They need scale, reach, resilience and speed to market across currencies and rails. Measures of success

Why join This is a chance to own a defined portfolio in one of the franchise's fastest-growing segments, working alongside experienced senior coverage. The role combines leading relationships with UK and Irish PayTechs and covering in EMEA for leading global names. It offers significant exposure to senior clients, global coverage teams and GPS leadership, and suits an ambitious payments professional who wants to build a business, not inherit a static portfolio.
