Construction Inspector Senior

Metropolitan St Louis Sewer District · St. Louis

Under direction, oversee and participate in responsible sub-professional engineering work in inspecting the construction of sewers, channel improvements and sewer facilities for the District.

Essential Functions:

Inspection of multiple concurrent sewer and facility projects under District contract
Interpreting detailed construction plans and specifications
Preparation of quantities and calculations to be used in monthly pay applications
Meeting with applicable stakeholders throughout the construction of a project
Investigation of customer service inquiries

Additional Responsibilities:

May approve minor grade and elevation changes
Maintain records and prepare reports
Perform related work as required or as delegated by supervisor
