Principal Engineer

Essential Functions:

Assign and coordinate the work of engineering team members.
Assist in reviewing design plans produced by or reviewed by team members.
Manage consulting engineers performing work of considerable difficulty, assist in coordinating the design of facilities with other District departments.
Meet with consulting engineers, contractors, private development project owners, and public officials as required
Maintain and monitor project schedules.
Maintain records and prepare technical reports.

Additional Responsibilities:

May develop presentations to District staff and external groups.
Manage District archives and maintain file records for all District projects.
Perform related duties as required or delegated by supervisor.
