Zello is looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to own and grow our brand presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok. This role sits within the Marketing team and works cross-functionally to bring Zello's product, people, and culture to life online — through compelling content, short-form video, and a sharp, data-informed strategy.

After a Successful First Year, You Will Have...
Built and executed a social content calendar that drives consistent, measurable growth in reach, impressions, and follower acquisition across all platforms
Grown organic engagement meaningfully across social platforms
Produced short-form video content that consistently outperforms benchmarks and has become a core driver of Zello's social performance
Launched influencer partnerships that contributed to the enterprise pipeline
Become the go-to collaborator for product launches, events, and campaigns — ensuring Zello shows up consistently and compellingly at every key moment
Established Zello's executive and team voices as credible thought leaders in frontline communication and connected worker technology
What You'll Do
Social Media Management & Strategy
Own and execute Zello's social content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X — maintaining a consistent publishing cadence that drives growth
Apply a data-first approach to platform strategy, continuously testing content formats, posting cadence, and tactics to improve engagement, CTR, and organic performance
Research and implement emerging platform best practices to maximize reach without paid spend
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to keep Zello's content relevant and differentiated
Build a curated network of relevant influencers and content creators aligned with Zello's target industries and brand values — developing a framework for outreach, collaboration structure, and performance measurement
Video Content Creation & Production
Plan, script, film, and edit short-form video content optimized for social platforms
Produce promotional video content for marketing assets — blogs, whitepapers, product features — that drives traffic and supports campaign goals
Showcase the human side of Zello through team, culture, and company storytelling
Repurpose existing video assets into social-ready clips to maximize output and content longevity
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
Track and report on key performance metrics monthly — impressions, reach, engagement rate, CTR, follower growth — and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
Use performance insights to continuously refine content strategy
Present findings to the broader marketing team to ensure social is aligned with company goals and contributing to pipeline and brand awareness
Cross-Team Collaboration, Campaigns & Events
Partner with product and marketing teams to build social content plans for product launches and feature releases — translating technical features into content that resonates with Zello's buyers and end users
Support executive and team-led content to position Zello as a thought leader in frontline communication and connected worker technology — drawing on insights from Product, Customer Success, and Leadership
Turn case studies, interviews, and real-world use cases into compelling social content that builds trust and credibility with target audiences
Capture and distribute real-time social content at trade shows, conferences, and company events — planning pre/during/post coverage across relevant platforms
Who You Are
You've managed social media accounts and have a track record of measurable organic growth — you know what moved the needle and why
You're a natural storyteller who can translate complex or technical ideas into content that connects with a real audience — whether it's a 15-second TikTok or a LinkedIn carousel
You treat every piece of content as a hypothesis — you post, measure, learn, and adjust without being precious about it. Testing and iterating is just how you work
You're comfortable in front of and behind the camera — you can plan, shoot, and edit short-form video without a full production team
You make other people's stories better. You're as good at pulling a compelling narrative out of a CS call or a product demo as you are at writing the caption — and you know how to bring cross-functional partners along with you
You communicate what the data means, not just what it says — you can turn a metrics report into a clear recommendation your team can act on
You're organized and self-directed — you can manage a content calendar, multiple projects, and competing deadlines without dropping the ball
You're always testing something — new formats, new hooks, new ways to reach the right people. Curiosity about platforms isn't a nice-to-have for you, it's just how you operate
This Role Is Not
A pure paid media marketing or brand role — our focus here is organic content, brand storytelling, and genuine online engagement driving business outcomes
A pure copywriting role — video creation and production is a core part of this job
A siloed position — you'll be working closely across teams and need to be comfortable with cross-functional collaboration
A set-it-and-forget-it job — if you're not energized by reviewing performance data and iterating on what you're making, this won't be the right fit
