Bloomberg’s Post Trade Implementation team helps financial institutions implement technology supporting critical trading, compliance and post-trade workflows.

What’s the Role?

As an Implementation Project Manager, you will own complex client implementations from discovery through production go-live.

You will work at the intersection of trading, data, technology and compliance, translating client requirements into clear and achievable implementation plans. You will partner with Sales and Account Management during the pre-sales process to validate solution fit and scope, then coordinate stakeholders across client and Bloomberg teams to guide implementations through data onboarding, configuration, testing, validation, training and operational readiness.

This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong project-management judgement, an ability to understand complex trading and technical workflows, and the confidence to lead stakeholders through ambiguity and change.

Beyond individual projects, you will help improve how we deliver implementations by identifying opportunities to standardize workflows, introduce automation and strengthen our tools, documentation and operating practices.

We’ll Trust You To

Lead client implementations from kickoff through production launch, owning project plans, scope, milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes

Partner with clients to understand their trading environment, transaction-cost-analysis objectives, surveillance requirements, operating model and target workflows

Translate business, trading, compliance and technical requirements into clear and deliverable implementation scope, including responsibilities, prerequisites, data requirements and acceptance criteria

Coordinate stakeholders across client trading, compliance, technology and operations teams, alongside Bloomberg Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering and Support

Identify and resolve issues involving data quality, mapping, integration, entitlements, reconciliation and operational dependencies that could affect analytical accuracy or production readiness

Establish effective project governance, communicate status and risks clearly, manage changes to scope and navigate challenging delivery conversations with client and internal stakeholders

Build trusted relationships across technical and senior audiences, creating clarity, aligning stakeholders and maintaining momentum across complex engagements

Capture client feedback and implementation insights that can improve product readiness, delivery quality and the overall client experience

Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize or automate implementation activities and contribute to reusable tools, procedures and documentation

You’ll Need To Have

Experience delivering client-facing implementation, onboarding, consulting or technology projects from discovery through production readiness

Strong project-management skills, including planning, governance, risk and dependency management, change control, stakeholder coordination and escalation

Experience gathering requirements, analyzing complex business or technical workflows and translating them into clear and deliverable scope

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence outcomes across client and cross-functional teams

Experience working in an enterprise technology environment where delivery requires coordination across commercial, product and technical stakeholders

An understanding of, or demonstrated ability to learn, complex financial markets, trading or regulated technology workflows

We’d Love to See

Experience with transaction cost analysis, trading analytics, execution-quality measurement, performance-outlier analysis, trade surveillance or market-abuse monitoring

Knowledge of one or more asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equities, FX or OTC markets

Experience working with trading platforms, OMS/EMS environments, trade or reference-data feeds, APIs, file transfer, data mapping, identity and access management, or information-security teams

Experience working within financial services, FinTech, trading technology or another regulated technology environment

Experience improving implementation methodologies, automation, tooling or product readiness in partnership with Product and Engineering teams
