Position Summary
We are seeking an organized and dependable Staffing Coordinator to manage staffing operations on the weekend and help ensure appropriate clinical coverage throughout the facility. This role serves as a key communication link between nursing staff, leadership, and scheduling needs while supporting quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain nursing schedules and staffing assignments
- Coordinate coverage for call-outs and open shifts
- Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and facility management
- Contact staff regarding scheduling needs and replacement coverage
- Assist with tracking attendance, call-outs, and schedule changes
- Ensure staffing levels meet facility and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports
- Support new hire scheduling and onboarding needs as appropriate
- Communicate professionally with employees regarding staffing and scheduling matters
- Assist with administrative duties related to staffing and workforce management
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active South Carolina CNA certification in good standing required
- Previous staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare experience preferred
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with staffing software and PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
