Job Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with STNAs and other healthcare team members to ensure quality resident care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and facility staff.
- Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and facility policies.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current, valid nursing license as an RN or LPN in the state of Ohio.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and resident care standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, professional, and dependable attitude.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
