Laundry Aide / Housekeeper

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (DOE)

Tiburon Post Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Laundry Aide / Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. If you take pride in your work and enjoy serving seniors, we'd love to have you join our team.
As a Laundry Aide / Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and dignity of our residents through exceptional laundry and housekeeping services.
Responsibilities
Laundry Duties
- Collect resident laundry and facility linens daily
- Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens
- Label resident clothing as needed
- Ensure clean linens are readily available throughout the facility
- Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service
- Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms promptly and accurately
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
- Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Report equipment concerns or maintenance needs promptly
Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces in a clean and sanitary condition
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Assist in creating a welcoming, odor-free environment for residents, families, and staff
- Adhere to all facility policies and departmental procedures
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or skilled nursing experience
- At least one year of related experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working with commercial laundry equipment and cleaning supplies
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
