Hire Digital is seeking a creative, social-first Freelance Social Media Content & Creative Strategist. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands social culture, trend-led content, and audience engagement, and can conceptualise creative campaigns that feel authentic, modern, and culturally relevant — without feeling overly corporate. The ideal candidate has experience in social media content strategy, TikTok and Instagram campaigns, influencer or creator collaborations, and short-form content ideation for consumer-facing brands.

Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and develop creative social-first content ideas for Instagram and TikTok campaigns.
- Identify emerging social trends, viral formats, and culturally relevant content opportunities within Singapore.
- Collaborate closely with the regional social media lead on weekly ideation, campaign planning, and creative strategy discussions.
- Support the planning and execution of short-form social content, including street interviews, challenges, creator-style videos, and community-focused content.
- Assist with the production of lightweight content, including filming support with mobile devices or lightweight equipment.
- Develop creative concepts for props, activations, giveaways, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Support influencer, creator, or partnership campaigns where required.
- Ensure content aligns with the brand’s tone of voice — modern, engaging, relatable, and social-native.
- Monitor social performance trends, engagement insights, and audience behaviour to help optimise future content.
- Stay updated on TikTok, Instagram, meme culture, and platform trends relevant to Gen Z and millennial audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, influencer marketing, or digital campaigns.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, creator culture, and social-first storytelling.
- Experience managing or supporting social campaigns for lifestyle, consumer, fintech, travel, tech, or digital-first brands.
- Strong creative ideation and trend awareness with the ability to turn insights into engaging content concepts.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative, and highly creative environments.
- Experience with short-form video production, filming, or creator-style content is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with social analytics, engagement metrics, and platform performance reporting is a plus.
- Experience working with Singapore audiences or understanding local social trends is strongly preferred.
- Fintech, finance, or consumer-tech experience is a bonus.
