About the Opportunity
We're looking for a customer-focused and reliable Call Centre Agent to join our growing healthcare team on a 3-month seasonal contract.
In this role, you'll be one of the first points of contact for clients, assisting with appointment scheduling, handling general enquiries, updating client records and ensuring every interaction is professional, helpful and positive.
We're looking for someone with previous call centre or customer service experience who is confident communicating over the phone, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys helping people.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule, reschedule and confirm client appointments.
- Assist clients with general enquiries and provide friendly, professional support.
- Accurately capture, update and maintain client information.
- Coordinate schedules and communicate appointment changes.
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems.
- Ensure all client interactions are handled with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a seamless client experience.
Requirements
- Previous call centre experience is essential.
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English communication skills and a clear, neutral accent.
- Strong data-capturing and computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional telephone etiquette and a confident phone manner.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable working rotational shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Available to start immediately.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Rotational shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST.
- Flexibility to work different shifts depending on business requirements.
- Weekend shifts will form part of the rotation.
Contract & Benefits
- 3-month seasonal contract.
- 12 days' holiday allowance.
- Salary paid in South African Rand (ZAR).
Please note: This role requires flexibility, as shifts and weekend schedules will rotate based on operational needs.
