The primary function of the Country Sales Leader - General Manager is to direct and manage the activities for the Eaton Electrical sector's Sales Operations in Israel providing business and operational leadership to the sales team and associated support functions, with the goal of meeting and exceeding assigned growth targets and organizational strategic objectives, whilst applying Eaton standard work practices and ensuring internal and external compliance.

What you’ll do:

Direct the country sales operations’ activities to drive Eaton strategic and commercial goals as set by joint planning with Cluster Lead and provide operational leadership to the functions of the country sales organization.
Act locally as Eaton’s nominated legal representative and General Manager for the legal entity in the country.
Demonstrate and act as a role model in line with Eaton ethical standards of conduct.
Develop and maintain productive business relations with important market parties, internal sales organizations, business divisions and other branch organizations, putting Eaton’s overall interest above immediate local benefit.
In collaboration with the Cluster and Functional Leaders, set out strategic direction; lead and implement strategic country planning processes and priority actions.
Generate revenue growth by developing business opportunities for the projects business with the assigned customer range (panel builders, contractors, consultants & end users, and other partners) within the targeted segments as per each year profit plan such as: commercial construction, industry, infrastructure, utility segments but not limited to them.
Build new customer relationships and expand existing ones resulting in a healthy pipeline of future opportunities.
Maintain sales volume, product mix, margin and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Negotiate and influence at executive and management level resulting in contracts and agreements.
Approving commercial agreements in line with organizational procedures.
Analyze market data, trends, customer requirements and other market insights to identify opportunities and risks.
Provide coordination for central functions, like Marketing, Product divisions and others to initiate, develop and implement marketing and other sales-oriented activities, events and campaigns in the country.
Initiate collaborations in sales activities within Eaton, resulting in synergy sales and new business.
Build organizational capability and develop talents.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a business-related field) or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical solutions Sales
Proven Sales experience within the data center electrical solutions market
Experience managing channel business for electrical products and solutions

Skills:

Proven track record of achieving business success as a Sales Manager.
Experienced Manager of People, with track record of managing teams.
Knowledge and experience of the electrical market of the country.
Strategic thinking. Intercultural awareness. Digital mindset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated executive presence – board room quality – able to represent Eaton to senior managers externally and internally.
Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders.
Fluent English and Hebrew.
