Discover the diverse tasks and roles of corporate communications during your 18-month training program. As a trainee, you will typically rotate through different areas of communication every six months, such as external and internal communication and market communication. We offer flexibility, further training opportunities, mentoring and experience abroad.

As a trainee, you will develop your technical and methodological skills on the job while taking part in specific training courses and events. These courses are taken with other Evonik Group trainees, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and expand your network from your first day. We will design your program individually to promote your personal and professional development. As part of the group network, you will learn from the best and receive mentorship from a senior manager. The trainee program also includes a three-month stay abroad.

Requirements

Master's degree with at least 3 months of experience in communications.

Development Opportunities

As a trainee, you will develop your professional skills through on-the-job experience, workshops, and seminars. During the communications trainee program, you will have the opportunity to attend additional courses. Depending on business needs and upon request, personalized training courses are also possible. Depending on business needs, you may be offered a position in the communications department and you may have the opportunity to work abroad.

We first met Simon in late 2021. As the first IT trainee at Evonik, he gave us insight into his expectations for the program and his day-to-day activities as a trainee.
