- About the Health Services Administrative Fellowship — UPMC Hamot
The two-year health services division administrative fellowship at UPMC Hamot provides exposure to all aspects of health system operations and management. It's ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in any aspect of health system administration.
The Health Services Division Administrative Fellowship in Erie County will be centered at UPMC Hamot. Serving communities in northwestern Pennsylvania, western New York, and eastern Ohio, UPMC Hamot is a 445 bed, tertiary-care medical facility and regional referral hub.
The two-year fellowship provides exposure to all aspects of health services administration operations and management. Fellows will experience:
- High-level exposure to processes in an academic medical center, community hospital settings, and an employed physician group practice during first-year rotations
- Operations in clinical, financial, physician, and nursing departments
- Mentoring from senior-level executives
