- About the Health Services Division Administrative Fellowship — UPMC Southwest Pa.
The UPMC Health Services Division (HSD) Southwest Pa. track includes rotations at a multitude of UPMC hospitals in Pittsburgh’s urban core.
UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside, the flagship hospital and academic hub of the UPMC system, serves as the central location for incoming HSD fellows in Allegheny County. This hospital operates on two campuses located approximately two miles apart — known respectively as the “Oakland Campus” and the “Shadyside Campus.” Each of these campuses maintains a distinct personality and purpose within the UPMC organization and serves a vital role in each community.
UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside is a level 1 trauma center that holds more than 1,100 beds offering comprehensive services in heart and vascular care, organ transplantation, oncology, orthopedics and more. Fellows also have regular exposure to Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC, UPMC Mercy and UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Fellows also have regular exposure to complex medical centers and community hospitals across the Pittsburgh area.
