At EY, our Financial Services Private Capital Tax team helps some of the world's leading asset managers, investment funds and private capital businesses manage that complexity and seize new opportunities. We work on a wide range of UK and international tax matters, providing market-leading advice across the asset management lifecycle.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for Senior Tax Advisors who are passionate about the asset management sector and excited by the opportunity to build their expertise.

You'll have the opportunity to:
- Work with leading UK and global asset managers across private equity, hedge funds, credit and real estate.
- Develop expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines, including fund tax, international tax, UK corporation tax, income tax and capital gains tax.
- Gain exposure to complex cross-border projects and multi-jurisdictional client matters.
- Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted adviser on their most important tax issues.
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Tax Advisor, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality advice and building long-term client relationships across a diverse portfolio of asset management clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on a broad range of tax matters affecting asset managers and investment funds, including UK and international tax issues.
- Supporting projects involving fund structures, management entities, cross-border investments and investor-related tax matters.
- Building day-to-day relationships with client contacts and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
- Preparing and reviewing technical analysis and drafting client deliverables.
- Working closely with colleagues across EY's UK and international network to deliver seamless client service.
- Liaising with HMRC and other external stakeholders, including legal advisers, financial institutions and wealth advisory firms.
- Supporting the development of junior colleagues and sharing knowledge across the team.
What we're looking for
We're interested in individuals who are technically strong, commercially aware and eager to develop their careers within the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience providing tax advice to asset managers, investment funds or other financial services clients.
- Strong technical tax knowledge, ideally including exposure to international tax issues.
- Experience building positive client relationships and delivering high-quality client service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving team environment.
- A desire to continuously learn, develop and broaden your expertise across the asset management industry.
- CTA, ACA, CA (ICAS), ATT or a comparable professional qualification.
