Tax Expert with English (VAT, WHT) 

Your tasks:    

Provide tax reports, manage tax issues and support closing activities related to tax processes, perform closing activities for VAT and CIT (appropriately monthly and yearly) 

Solve complex tax issues and give tax advice/guidance to accounting teams 

Gather relevant data and supporting documentation in tax compliance process 

Supporting daily operations in terms of VAT compliance process for Germany and/or other regions 

Preparation and extraction of VAT related analysis and reports 

Preparation of reconciliation of VAT accounts 

Preparation and submission of WHT declarations 

Participation in Indirect Tax related projects 

Perform tax settlements and tax declaration/return submission, as well as correction of declaration if needed 

Manage tax payment process 

Assistance in tax refund process 

Manage country specific reporting requirements to tax authorities 

Manage changes in legal requirements 

Assistance in tax audits 

Comply with tax operational standards and procedures 

Ensure alignment between indirect Tax filings, EU Sales Listing and ERP-System and other systems 

Prepare and verify tax documents, tax calculations, tax declarations, letters, tax advices 

Participate actively in meetings with our business partners (legal, business finance, IT and accounting teams) to share information and address various business initiatives 

Challenging and reviewing current processes, process improvements 

Who you are:    

University degree preferable in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant degree 

4-5 years’ experience in tax compliance / tax accounting 

Working experience in tax advisory in a multinational company; working knowledge of VAT, WHT, CIT for EU entities 

Understand the end-to-end process of Tax Operational activities 

English language B2/C1

German B2 is a plus 

MS Office and experience in SAP 

Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with Finance and non-Finance staff at various levels 

Very strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex tasks 

Advanced level of capability to translate digital technologies into processes

The minimum gross monthly salary for this role is 8,880PLN. The final salary will be determined based on objective factors such as professional experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility.

This position is be eligible for variable pay components, such as annual or performance-based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
