Functional Description:
HSBC Asset Management (“AMG”)’s Product Group is responsible for the strategic and commercial development of AMG Product manufacturing capabilities including Development, Management, Governance, Support and Mandate delivery across all Global Markets.

Reports To: SVP, HEAD OF INSTITUTIONAL BUSINESS
Role Purpose:
- Play a pivotal role in expanding client coverage, acquiring new institutional clients across Taiwan, and generating significant sales revenues.
- Target client base: Taiwan institutional investors, including Official Sector Institutions, Sovereign Wealth and Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, and Corporates.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver strong, joined-up coverage of Taiwan institutional clients.
- Primary focus: Developing Taiwan equity mandate opportunities and delivering high-quality client service.
Job Contents
- Impact on Business: Cover pension funds, insurance companies, and corporate clients across Taiwan’s institutional segment and lead the execution of a targeted sales strategy for Taiwan institutional segments, prioritizing the most attractive opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues supporting Taiwan equity mandates to ensure seamless client servicing and delivery.
- Relationship management: Deliver effective sales and servicing quality to ensure high customer satisfaction level and rapidly build strong, trusted partnerships with HSBC colleagues and clients to maximize referrals and unlock opportunities across all target segments.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Work closely and effectively across functions (Client Service, Sales Support, Marketing, Product, and Investment) to deliver a consistently high standard of client service to all key accounts.
- Operational Effectiveness & Control: Maintain strong risk and regulatory discipline, ensuring full adherence to applicable policies, controls, and regulatory obligations. Keep CRM and client data accurate and up to date, maintaining a consistently high standard of information management and record-keeping.
Qualification/License Requirement
- University degree or above
- License requirement (one of below):
1. 證券投資分析人員
2. 證券商高級業務員
3. 證券投資信託及顧問事業之業務員
- At least 5-10 years of institutional sales experience in asset management field
- Strong existing relationships with public/sovereign or insurance clients
- Strong experience in handling Taiwan domestic equity mandate with public/sovereign or insurance clients
- Decent level of English speaking and writing
