Supply Chain Services (SCS) is een wereldwijd team met meer dan 600 professionals in meer dan 35 landen dat de EY‑organisatie wereldwijd ondersteunt. Als lid van het Talent Procurement team krijg je de kans om te werken binnen een professioneel team van procurement specialisten in een internationale werkomgeving, en samen met collega’s te werken aan uitdagende inkoopprojecten in Nederland. Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

• Het end‑to‑end uitvoeren van inkooptrajecten: Van inkoopstrategie en leveranciersselectie tot onderhandelen en contracteren.
• Het opbouwen en actief managen van een robuuste pipeline aan inkoopprojecten, in nauwe samenwerking met interne stakeholders.
• Het efficiënt beheren en optimaliseren van de tail spend categorie, gekenmerkt door een hoog volume aan leveranciers.
• Optreden als vertrouwde businesspartner voor je stakeholders, met het leveren van uitstekende service.
• Het effectief managen van kosten, inclusief het realiseren van structurele kostenbesparingen en toegevoegde waarde voor zowel EY als onze medewerkers.
• Het structureel monitoren en rapporteren van de voortgang van inkoopinitiatieven, inclusief behaalde resultaten, besparingen en risico’s, richting stakeholders en management.
• Actief samenwerken met collega’s binnen het Global Procurement‑team in Europe West op bredere initiatieven en waar zich kansen voordoen.
• Nauw samenwerken met Risk Management om contractuele risico’s voor de organisatie te minimaliseren.
• Het actief uitdragen, toelichten en faciliteren van het Global Procurement & Supply Chain‑beleid en de bijbehorende processen, zodat stakeholders de toegevoegde waarde begrijpen en deze naleven.

• Om voor deze rol in aanmerking te komen, beschik je over:
  • Ervaring binnen Procurement in een samenwerkingsgerichte, high‑performance omgeving, bij voorkeur binnen de Talent Procurement‑categorie.
  • Commercieel inzicht om sourcing‑ en demandmanagementstrategieën te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren over een breed scala aan categorie‑diensten.
  • Het vermogen om werkzaamheden af te stemmen met key stakeholders en deze waar nodig te beïnvloeden, gecombineerd met een internationale / globale mindset.
  • Ervaring met de uitvoering van RFP-trajecten en onderhandelingen.
  • Een uitstekende beheersing van het Engels; kennis van de Duitse taal is een pré, maar geen vereiste.

• Bij voorkeur beschik je daarnaast over:
  • Een afgeronde bacheloropleiding, bij voorkeur aangevuld met een vervolgopleiding in Business of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Een NEVI 1‑certificering of CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is een pré.
  • 2 jaar relevante ervaring binnen Procurement.
  • Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatie‑ en presentatievaardigheden.
  • Ervaring binnen een globale, cultureel diverse organisatie.
  • Ervaring met samenwerken in hybride omgevingen: Zowel virtueel, in teamverband als zelfstandig.

The opportunity

The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a better working world. An essential function under EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCS’s value for the EY organization and the world's supply chain.

A key component of SCS is Global Procurement, whose purpose is to drive more significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology, Talent and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people, clients and communities.

As a Talent Procurement Team member, you will have the opportunity to work with a professional team of Procurement professionals in a global environment and work with colleagues on interesting sourcing projects in the Netherlands. Developing our people is key to deliver quality to our internal and external clients and is perfectly in line with our purpose of building a better working world.

Your key responsibilities

• Owning end‑to‑end accountability for sourcing projects in the Netherlands, defining sourcing strategies, influencing supplier selection, and leading negotiations and contracting decisions.
• Developing and driving a tail spend strategy to increase spend under management by establishing and strengthening preferred supplier arrangements, increasing purchase order adoption, improving stakeholder engagement, and rationalizing the supplier base.
• Developing and managing a sourcing pipeline to ensure appropriate visibility, prioritization, and progression of sourcing initiatives.
• Developing relationships with key EY business stakeholders, providing regular category insights and progress updates, and acting as a trusted business advisor by delivering exceptional customer service and support throughout sourcing projects.
• Managing deal pre-approvals and approvals, ensuring sourcing activities progress through the appropriate review and governance processes.
• Delivering cost savings through sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring outcomes are appropriately captured and reported.
• Work closely with risk management functions to minimize contractual risks to the organization.
• Monitoring spend trends to identify developments, opportunities, and areas requiring procurement attention.
• Work with stakeholders and Global Procurement team members to support team wide objectives which support the team’s overall global strategy.
• Driving awareness and adoption of the Procurement and Supply Chain Global Policy and processes, ensuring project teams and stakeholders understand their value and adhere to them consistently.
• Expanding involvement over time in sourcing projects and initiatives across the Europe West region, based on demonstrated delivery and potential.

Skills and attributes for success

• Business acumen and commercial skills to help leadership drive procurement and demand management strategies across a broad array of portfolios for the Talent function.
• Strong negotiator and influencer capable of supporting leadership in driving alignment with key senior stakeholders and leaders. 
• Knowledge and interest in the Talent landscape with an understanding of offerings in Talent arena such as Rewards and Benefits, Human Capital, Learning and Development, and Health and Insurance.
• The ability to drive change by building strong, trusting relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for change and learning.

1.To qualify for the role, you must have 

• • Experience in Procurement in a collaborative, high-performance environment and preferably in the Talent Procurement category.
  • Procurement expertise and commercial acumen to drive sourcing and demand management strategies across a broad array of category services.
  • Ability to align efforts with key stakeholders and influence these leaders, as necessary, and possess a global mindset.
  • Experience on execution of online Rfx and e-Auctions.
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills; knowledge of German is a plus but not required.

2. Ideally, you’ll also have.

• • A Bachelor’s and follow-on degree in Business or similar discipline is recommended.
  • Nevi 1 or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) will be a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in Procurement.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization.
  • Experience working collaboratively, virtually and independently.
