Ziele der Rolle
Das Team für Scientific Management ist für die Erstellung klinischer Dokumente verantwortlich, die den wissenschaftlichen, regulatorischen, normativen, wirtschaftlichen und qualitativen Anforderungen entsprechen. Als strategischer Partner und Berater unterstützt das Team verschiedene Fachbereiche bei wissenschaftlichen sowie klinisch-regulatorischen Fragestellungen. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, sicherzustellen, dass die gesamte klinische Dokumentation wissenschaftlich fundiert,
konform und auf die übergeordneten Ziele der Organisation abgestimmt ist
Ihre Kernaufgaben
- Erstellung und Pflege hochwertiger klinischer Dokumentationen gemäß geltenden regulatorischen Anforderungen und wissenschaftlichen Standards.
- Erstellung von Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) sowie Post-Market Clinical Follow-up Reports (PMCFs) nach MDR und MEDDEV.
- Fachliche Beratung und Unterstützung der Bereiche Entwicklung, Produktmanagement, PLM, Regulatory Affairs und Vigilanz bei wissenschaftlichen und klinischen Fragestellungen.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdern zur Unterstützung von Produktentwicklungen, Produktänderungen und regulatorischen Einreichungen.
- Durchführung von Literatur- und Datenbankrecherchen sowie Analyse und Bewertung klinischer Daten.
- Prüfung und Freigabe von Marketing- und Schulungsunterlagen hinsichtlich wissenschaftlicher Richtigkeit und Compliance.
- Unterstützung von Audits, Inspektionen und behördlichen Anfragen.
- Mitwirkung an klinischen Strategien, wissenschaftlichen Bewertungen und bereichsübergreifenden Entscheidungsprozessen.
- Durchführung und Unterstützung von Produktschulungen, Produkteinführungen und internationalen MedTech-Seminaren.
- Kontinuierliche Optimierung von Prozessen, Methoden und Standards im Bereich Scientific Management.
Qualifikation & Berufserfahrung
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Medizin, Naturwissenschaften, Life Sciences oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung (mind. 3 Jahre) im Bereich Medical Affairs, Medical Science, Clinical Affairs oder Scientific Management
- Erfahrung in der Erstellung klinischer Dokumentationen, insbesondere Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER) und PMCF-Dokumentationen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse regulatorischer Anforderungen für Medizinprodukte, insbesondere MDR, MEDDEV und idealerweise ISO 13485
- Erfahrung in der Bewertung wissenschaftlicher Literatur sowie der Analyse klinischer Daten
- Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten im wissenschaftlichen Schreiben und in der verständlichen Aufbereitung komplexer Sachverhalte
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Tracheotomie, Trachealkanülenmanagement, Beatmung oder verwandter medizinischer Fachgebiete sind von Vorteil
- Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Kenntnisse in Veeva, JMP oder vergleichbaren Systemen sind wünschenswert
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (mindestens Niveau C1)
- Fähigkeit zur bereichsübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit sowie zum professionellen Umgang mit internen und externen Stakeholdern
Reisetätigkeit
- Ca. 1x pro Quartal, Reisedauer bis zu einer Woche zusammenhängend

Role Purpose
The Scientific Management team is responsible for the creation of clinical documentation that meets scientific, regulatory, normative, economic, and quality requirements. As a strategic partner and advisor, the team supports various functional areas in scientific and clinical-regulatory matters. Our mission is to ensure that all clinical documentation is scientifically sound, compliant with applicable requirements, and aligned with the organization's overarching objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and maintenance of high-quality clinical documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and scientific standards.
- Preparation of Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) and Post-Market Clinical Follow-up Reports (PMCFs) in accordance with MDR and MEDDEV requirements.
- Provide scientific guidance and support to the Development, Product Management, PLM, Regulatory Affairs, and Vigilance departments on scientific and clinical matters.
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to support product development activities, product changes, and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct literature and database searches as well as analyze and evaluate clinical data.
- Review and approval of marketing and training materials for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory authority inquiries.
- Contribute to clinical strategies, scientific assessments, and cross-functional decision-making processes.
- Conduct and support product trainings, product launches, and international MedTech seminars.
- Continuously improve processes, methodologies, and standards within Scientific Management.
Qualifications & Professional Experience
- Completed degree in Medicine, Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience (minimum 3 years) in Medical Affairs, Medical Science, Clinical Affairs, or Scientific Management.
- Experience in the preparation of clinical documentation, particularly Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) and PMCF documentation.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices, particularly MDR, MEDDEV, and ideally ISO 13485.
- Experience in evaluating scientific literature and analyzing clinical data.
- Excellent scientific writing skills and the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable manner.
- Knowledge of tracheotomy, tracheostomy tube management, ventilation, or related medical fields is considered an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Veeva, JMP, or comparable systems is desirable.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
- Strong ability to collaborate across functions and professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Travel Requirements
- Approximately once per quarter, with travel durations of up to one consecutive week.
