We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Clients & Industries team.
The Account Manager works within our Clients & Industries team and is responsible for working with the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP), Sales Executive (SE), where applicable, and Account Leads to drive account strategy and innovation, drive client relationship growth, accelerate sales and develop talent. The Account Manager ensures cross-service line and cross-geography team integration for our largest, most complex global accounts and that we deliver exceptional client service in all internal and external encounters.
About you
In your role as an Account Manager, you will
Drive account management and manage execution of account plans:
- Manage the end-to-end planning for the account portfolio including identification of appropriate BD initiatives to achieve account ambitions
- Own the financial planning process of the account, ensuring business opportunities compliment the targets assigned
- Support the Global Client Service Partners on the account to develop appropriate BD/go-to-market strategies
- Identify business needs, align focus accounts, co-develop action plans and timelines, and enable business leaders in support of sales/BD initiatives
- Own the relationship with procurement teams of key portfolio companies
- Maintain a repository of client feedback and relationship maps of our focus clients and derive requisite insights
- Ensure accurate tagging of accounts and clients in our internal systems as well as maintaining their correct independence relationships
Manage sales program and drive strategic pursuits
- Serve as the program lead for the implementation of sales campaigns, growth platforms and other prioritized initiatives. Track results and provide frequent status communications
- Drive periodic account and region cadences that ensure BD/go-to-market activities reach all quarters of the organization, and create collaboration opportunities for all stakeholders engaging the account
- Ensure pipeline hygiene and extend bid management support to client serving teams where required
- Provide ad-hoc strategic pursuit support for identified opportunities while engaging and managing multiple internal teams, including timely and accurate delivery of research and insights on client and solutions for client meetings
Reporting
- Review Account/client financial performance, pipeline reporting and analysis leveraging firm tools and data.
- Identify, develop, and provide leadership insights, trends, opportunities, and action plans to drive account pipeline and revenue growth.
- Own the content for leadership and management updates on the performance of the account
We’re looking for people with the following experience:-
- University graduate (Accounting or Business preferred) with at least 2-4 years’ relevant experience
- Proven ability to work and influence cross-functionally and geographically and with a broad range of internal, external and offshore stakeholders and departments
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project / pursuit requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to detail
- Ability to review reports, interpret data and identify trends that will assist in further targeting appropriate go-to-market activities that will generate pipeline
- Strong advocate of the firm’s account management framework and opportunity tools and processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment
